General Specifications of the DVP 250 Vacuum Pump
The DVP 250 vacuum pump operates with a 5.5 kW electric motor at 1480 RPM.
The pump has a 2-inch suction port and a 2-inch discharge port.
This device is equipped with a two-stage dust filter in its inlet path.
The approximate weight of the vacuum pump is around 200 kg, and it requires an installation area of approximately 1.5 × 1.5 meters.
The pump dimensions are: length 1 meter, width 55 cm, and height 80 cm. Ensure that the installation area allows proper ventilation and adequate airflow.
Performance and Ultimate Vacuum of the DVP 250 Vacuum Pump
The mechanism of this type of Dezpart product is an oil-sealed rotary vane design. Suction and vacuum are generated by the rotational movement of the rotor and continuous air displacement through the vanes.
Due to high heat generated by vane wear in the stator space, heat-resistant oils (vacuum oil) are used. Consequently, the sucked air mixes with the oil inside the stator, and the pump’s outgoing air contains this oil.
Air-oil separators are installed at the pump’s outlet to filter the air, ensuring that the discharged air is clean and free of contaminants.
The ultimate vacuum produced by the DVP 250 pump is 0.5 millibar.
The electric motor power for this pump is 5.5 kW.
Compatibility with Space and Vacuum Tanks
If you intend to use this pump centrally and simultaneously with another pump, please note the following:
The vacuum pressure of pumps operating simultaneously on the same tank must be equal.
If your process requires the tank to quickly approach atmospheric pressure, or in other words, if your vacuum consumption is high, it is better to use the vacuum pump in continuous operation. Excessive start-stop cycles not only fail to extend the pump’s lifespan but may also cause damage.
For the DVP 250, we recommend a vacuum tank between 2000 and 3000 liters. For example, this pump can evacuate a 2000-liter tank to its nominal vacuum in approximately 1 minute.
The DVP 250 is one of Dezpart’s most widely used products in manufacturing plants, typically operating at a minimum of 7 hours per day. Its uniform vacuum pressure, due to controlled rotor and stator expansion and contraction, provides superior performance compared to similar products.
This pump model is mainly used in wood processing factories and woodworking machinery, material handling, medical and hospital industries, vacuum furnaces, oil refining plants, rubber production, and disposable container manufacturing.
